Recently I have been in a season of learning, a season of finding out why I believe what I believe. If you know me well you know my aspirations to go to seminary and become a pastor. But why wait for seminary training to dive into the Word of God and the theological realm?
Something funny has happend to me after graduating college, I actually crave knowledge now. Funny how that works. I go in debt for four years while dreading class, and now all I want to do it watch classes online. Either I have become a massive nerd or knowledge really is power.
So here is my new blog. I will be bringing up boring, exciting, controversial, and thought provoking ideas (A little bit of everything).
Sometimes I will have absolutely no idea what I am talking about and just posting something I just read. Sometimes I will passionately write and defend what I believe in.
I invite your input for good ole friendly Theological conversation and at times debate.
I just know that I crave to know my God more and more. I crave to know where I have come from and why I believe what I believe.

I already shaved my stache….. The wife was pretty creeped out by it and she made a proposition I couldn’t refuse. Am I sad that my top lip is now lonely? Yes. Do I regret it? No. Mrs. Acklin is very convincing…… Am I a quitter? Maybe. Would I do it again if I had the chance? Yes. Once again, Mrs. Acklin is very convincing….
